The composer and pianist Kirill Richter will perform at Grand Pera Emek Sahnesi on Saturday, 24 October 2026 at 20:00. Presented by World Entertainment Media Group, the performance brings Richter together with violinist Alyona Zinovyeva and cellist August Krepak as the Richter Trio.
Paris-based Richter brings an unusual background in nuclear physics and fashion design to a musical career spanning cinema, ballet and opera. Zinovyeva is his regular violin partner, while Krepak has been a permanent member of the trio since 2016. Trained at the Moscow Conservatory and Norwegian Academy of Music, Krepak works across contemporary and Baroque music. Together, they form an established ensemble with a shared performance history.
Richter’s music combines minimalist writing with a cinematic atmosphere. The programme centres on Towards the Beloved City, released by Warner Classics on 28 November 2025, alongside selected works from his repertoire.
